Royal Ones, here is what the Lord knows. Be encouraged. All references are from the New American Standard Bible.
He knows our way — Psalm 1:6, For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
He knows our days — Psalm 37:18, The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will be forever.
He knows our thoughts — Psalm 94:11, The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are a breath. 1 Corinthians 3:20, …and again, The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.
He knows when we belong to him — 2 Timothy 2:19, Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”
He knows how to deliver us — 2 Peter 2:9, …then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment…
This is encouragement to sleep on, knowing that the Lord Himself KNOWS ALL ABOUT US. He watches over our way (NLT, Ps. 1:6). He takes care of the innocent every day (NLT, Ps. 37:18). He knows our thoughts have no value. His truth is set in stone, and on that stone an inscription that God can identify those who belong to Him (NLT, 2 Tim. 2:19). And hallelu, He knows how to deliver the godly and reserve the wicked (NLT, 2 Pet. 2:9).
Let our songs rise up to the Father in gratitude. Let our minds be renewed unto the truth that the Lord does not just see but HE KNOWS.
