Welcome to SESSION TWO of THE BEREAN STUDY, this year’s discipleship class. Since we meet monthly, please review our learning objectives.
- To consider in context some “popular” and often misquoted or poorly applied verses and passages of scripture
- To search the scriptures and discover the truth as Holy Spirit reveals, and align and/or discard previous teachings received
Session two considers “all these things” from Matthew 6:33 and “the desires of your heart” from Psalm 37:4. We learn the context of Jesus’ discourse in Matthew 6:25-34 and the intention of David’s words to delight in the Lord and receive the desires of our hearts.
