There will be distractions… Keep going. I mean, go right around or through them. Focus is not developed in ideal circumstances. Rise above and get it done.
There will be competing affections… Choose wisely and execute. Priorities are important. No more staring at the buffet of options and wondering how it can all be done. Choose.
There will be the feeling of not having enough time… Yet, there will be time to get it done. Like Greg McKeown says (paraphrased), choose the 1-2 things that must be done. Then decide on 1-2 ways to get it done. Then say no to everything else. It’ll be amazing how much time is available.
There will be fatigue, and the temptation to be slothful… Push through. In all labor there is profit (Prov. 14:23a). Just talking about the plans bears no fruit (Prov. 14:23b). Push through.
If you regard the wind you will not sow. If you wait for perfect alignment of all of life’s factors, you’ll never jump. Go already!
