Beware of Beautiful Lies
Just a reminder, Dear Ones, that when we detour from the Lord’s will for us it is not because “they” lied to us, deceived or seduced us. It is because we wanted it so bad that we were baited by an opportunity that looked right, but was wrong.
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. James 1:13-14 NASB (emphasis added)
Do you recall that feeling of being lifted up as if walking on air? Or that whirlwind feeling of butterflies and giddy laughter? Lust carries us away like that. Our lust…not the leading of the Lord.
Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. James 1:15-17 NASB
What God gives is good for us, complete and perfect in its arrival, encased in light and is consistent.
What God releases has no dark dealings. We are not witnessing of God’s light to a gift from God’s light. SELAH. Mind you, darkness in its simplest definition is the absence of Word, or light. If we have to teach our gift, then it is not our gift but our pupil.
What God sends to us as gifts is steady, secure, and consistent. There’s no doublemindedness, or variation — saying one thing on Monday, and denying it was said on Thursday. There is also no shifting shadow…yay is yay, and nay is nay.

We create an ideal, have an experience with potential, and then attach our faith to it and call it God’s will. But all the fruit is flesh, keeps us in our feelings and creates more separation and unity — internally and with the other party. In essence, we made a deal with an idol…because that is what this ideal became. And we know that ALL IDOLS MUST FALL. We can never compete with another’s ideal…we will fail each time, and vice versa. That is the real reason it all fell apart. It was the climb of our lives on this mountain, but it never moved us ahead. We grew stronger and better yes, but that was all for what is next
This is just a reminder. Many of us have already cut our “dark” ties. But we maintain some hope because our feelings still live. It can be difficult to reconcile, because our feelings tell us there is still a way but Beloved, move on…and let your feelings catch up. There is nothing for you in the insecure, inconsistent, and shifting darkness that looks like God but is not God’s good and perfect for you.
Let’s allow the Father of lights to keep our lives lit with His presence. When it looks like everyone wants what is cheap, catchy and flighty, the Lord will reserve us for the right people, at the right time, for whom we have the words of eternal life. He will make sure our entrance is timed perfectly, and received properly as His gift.
Do what’s necessary, Royal Ones. The time is now.
