The Berean Study #2

Welcome to SESSION TWO of THE BEREAN STUDY, this year’s discipleship class. Since we meet monthly, please review our learning objectives.

1. To consider in context some “popular” and often misquoted or poorly applied verses and passages of scripture
2. To search the scriptures and discover the truth as Holy Spirit reveals, and align and/or discard previous teachings received

Session two considers “all these things” from Matthew 6:33 and “the desires of your heart” from Psalm 37:4. We learn the context of Jesus’ discourse in Matthew 6:25-34 and the intention of David’s words to delight in the Lord and receive the desires of our hearts.
