Dear Kingdom Queen,
Loss happens in levels and stages. It is part of our journey, not a once-for-all event that qualifies us for the so-called “blessed life.” Some loss is involuntary; it forces our hand when we try to save our lives.
For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. ~ Matthew 16:25
But we persevere through loss for the sake of discovery.
critical mass (noun): the size, number, or amount of something that is needed to cause a particular result
We come to critical mass more often than we admit. That means that in all of our getting on one stage, we get all the understanding, learn all the lessons, and use all the wisdom we need for this stage (See Proverbs 4:7). When we get to critical mass, to live there is stifling. It is suffocating. And what got us to this point now is a barrier. To forge through requires voluntary loss — of ambition, of perspective, of position even, for a greater exchange.
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; 2 To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, 3 To grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. ~ Isaiah 61:1-3
Isaiah 61 explains the divine exchange at the point of critical mass — when enough is enough for the stage I’m on. First it takes an anointing, a supernatural God kind of intervention.
GOOD NEWS (for the affliction)
BINDING UP (for the brokenhearted)
EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION (for the captive)
FREEDOM (to the prisoner, not necessarily in prison)
FAVOR PROCLAMATION (to signal the end of defeat)
GOD’S DAY OF VENGEANCE (to right injustice)
COMFORT (for the grieving)…via BEAUTY (in place of ashes),
OIL OF JOY (to relieve mourning) & THE MANTLE/GARMENT OF PRAISE (to strengthen from weakness)
Chin up, Lovelies. To every thing — even loss — there is a season and a time.
Love you all to life. Selah.
