Welcome to our 10 days of prayer for the Body of Christ! Dial in to the conference line at 6am Central Time daily until Saturday, June 7th. Consider adding the prayer focuses below to your devotional time, and meet our daily prayer leaders.

For John used to immerse people in water, but in a few days,
you will be immersed in the Holy Ghost. — Acts 1:5, Complete Jewish Bible

Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the promise. He said that in a few days they will “be immersed” (CJB) in the Holy Spirit. At least one person in the 120 who tarried in the upper room had a frame of reference for immersion: Mary the mother of Jesus. As a young girl the angel Gabriel visited her and told her how God chose her to carry the Son of God. How was it possible? In Luke 1:35 the angel responded,

The Holy Spirit will come over you, the power of the Highest will cover you. Therefore the holy child born to you will be called the Son of God. — Complete Jewish Bible

Will you wait for the endowment to fulfill your assignment? Come on, let’s pray for the church!
