You are the expert…or you should be!
Here’s a little encouragement for the new year: You are the Expert
I wanted to send this little note and short recorded message (about 11 minutes!) before we all start preparing to attend the various New Year celebrations. I pray God’s best for you, and your patience for it! (amen somebody!)
Consider 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 from the Amplified Bible–
But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [[e]who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].
10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the [f]divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny].
11 For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man’s thoughts except the man’s own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
Overcoming occurs by the blood of Jesus and the words of our testimony. This testimony comes through divinely revealed truth in a time of testing. God will show us who we are, who we are not, and through that offer a clearer picture of our environment (emotional, social, etc.).
Let’s cross into the new year with the intent to:
- stop grasping at spiritual identity straws
- resolve issues (trust/faith, doubt/unbelief, etc.)
- better know ourselves
- have the right perspective on our lives
- walk in liberty
- take up our beds and walk
- go back to what God said
- BE. MADE. WHOLE.
