Impact. It means collision, or the force created by a collision. It is the effect or impression of one thing on another. It is the power of making a strong or immediate impression.
One of the joys of being an “idea person” is learning what happens when a person or group uses my idea. When it goes well for them, then my reach has expanded into another area. I may never meet the beneficiaries of my idea, but it is inspiring when a report comes back to me that counsel I gave or an idea I offered was not only used but that it worked!
From across the United States and other countries people are interested in Queen Esther. From Singapore and the Philippines, Great Britain and Russia, people have searched for the “characteristics of Esther” and found this blog site. How exciting! Around the world we remain impressed — impacted — by Esther’s life and example.
This is the place where I might ask you a reflective question…like, what is your impact? But, I’m not going to ask that because I know that Kingdom Queens make impact (immediate impressions).
What I want to ask is this: How much further can you go?
Impact pays off. We are proof as we study Esther so many years later. Do not get weary and stop short of your full possible reach. Due season is the promise, and our God will make good. Woo! (felt that one) Amen!
IMPACT is the subject of Esther’s Call II tomorrow, September 18th at 8PM Central. Dial in at (218) 862-6400 and use access code 6360503. Join us!
