But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

This week let’s review some key words. The word for today is FAVOR.
I want to encourage us to expand our expectation of God’s favor. We tend to look at favor as God making a way–the parking spot near the door, a sale or discount instead of full price, open doors for business and employment, and more.
Favor is also defensive. God shields us with favor. Isn’t that awesome, that favor acts as a shield?! Favor is a blessing for the righteous, and it comes from God. Favor is protection for the righteous.
God bless you as you “go forth and conquer” today, and let your Lord defend you…with favor.
