My Prayer for You (Introduction) Introduction – Esther’s Call IIWe want to learn why God promotes us, and Esther still has more to show us through her life’s example. This time, we get to look closer at the other characters in the account–Mordecai, Haman, and King Ahasuerus.
Consider that what we learn about Mordecai’s character and values gives us insight into Esther because he raised her. We believe an impartation took place on some level, especially when we see in Esther 2:20 that Esther still obeyed Mordecai’s commandment.
One of the first things we see is Mordecai’s devotion to his God that compels him to take a stand. Doing what is right because it is right is the spirit of honor. Stay with us as we dig deeper.
