Your Purpose Belongs to God
If we love God, we obey Him. Our obedience to do our purpose is an expression of our love. Our obedience says we hear Him, believe Him, agree with His will, and acknowledge His Lordship. Obedience brings reward in many ways; reward is when the Father acknowledges our obedience. Isn’t that awesome? Obedience never falls on a deaf ear (us) nor a blind eye (Him).
On the Path to Reigning, there are as many chances to disobey as there are to obey. We must then, do more than avoid disobedience. We must take a position against disobedience. In other words, we must purpose to obey. Let’s look at how we do this in 2 Corinthians 10:6.
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. (KJV)
Revenge used here means to punish, retaliate, and carry justice out. Disobedience used here means mishearing and inattention. STOP…and please read this again! When we hear wrong, misunderstand what we hear, or fail to pay attention, then disobedience is the result! The GIFTED GIRL knows this…good ideas vs. God ideas, for example. We are wired to give our all to our “projects,” and can veer off into purpose-less activities (relationships included). It is so easy to get off track.
Our simple resolve then is to punish the “cookie dough” hearing and “glazed eye” vision. How? WE OBEY. Our stand must be that we WILL hear what GOD says to us. We WILL pay attention to His working in our lives. We WILL NOT miss Him.
Your purpose belongs to God, and He collects on His investment through our obedience. We express our love through the DOING (not the works) of our purpose. Let the awakening continue. Let’s keep walking, EARS and EYES WIDE OPEN.

Thank you so much for this refreshing word, so many times we wonder why our Blessings aren’t coming through for us and not know that our DISOBEDIENCE delays the Lord’s response to some of our requests. Thank you for simply bringing some things back to my remembrance!
