A Queen in Covenant

In the second month of Abigail’s Call, we take what may look like a step back to address the two main men in her life. But, it is really a step IN-into better appreciating Abigail, the woman of good understanding, and her relationships with Nabal and David.

Like Esther, Abigail was in transition. When introduced in 1 Samuel 25:3, she was in a worthless covenant with Nabal. In our first call this month, we study Nabal and the descriptions used to create his profile. The goal is to tool us with the ability to identify a “son of Belial” and better discern worthless agreements BEFORE and while we have opportunity to reject them.

When we study David in our second call, we will pay close attention to David’s state of mind. The objective here is to better understand how to enter into and stay in relationship with anointed people not yet “on their throne.” We want to take from Abigail’s example not to coddle their emotional issues, but to speak into their purpose and provoke deliverance and awakening. We want to be doors of life, usable by God.

I hope you’ll join us live or listen later to the recordings of this month’s calls. This is the living Word of God; it is powerful and alive, separating our souls from our spirits, and showing us our own motives.

It is inspection time, Ladies. Let the Word discerning begin…
